We’re a Ramblin’ Family

We fly back to Tucson in the morning after a two week visit here in Maryland. We had a great visit with my mother, Hil’s parents, and childhood friends. We had our fill of celebrations including Emma’s fourth birthday! I even managed to get some work done and put together a marketing video for the Young Guns Wild West Fun Park.

We have a lot of work ahead of us. I have to get our ‘NEW’ Dodge Sprinter ready to travel by building out the cargo van to sleep four and carry the kids. Hil may be flying up to Jackson, Wyoming for a brief contract job. That means I follow when I get finished with the kids for a three day trip in the van all by my lonesome. Then off to Billings, Montana for a convention. We should have some idea how our 2012 season is looking based on that convention. Back to Jackson for about two weeks, then straight down to Las Vegas for another convention. Back to Tucson where we wrap up some paperwork before heading to Mexico.

Whew! I’m already tired. As my Uncle Kenny says, “No moss grows on us.”

All in all, the kids are well and growing up healthy and mostly polite little children. Hil and I both are working on our physical if not mental health. I’m ready to drop some baby weight before we hit Mexico.

Next year looks to be even busier! Where does the madness end? It’s a roller coaster ride for sure. I don’t think I would have it any other way.

You know an ICE COLD draft beer in Mexico is a very affordable price of approximately $1.25! Click Here to Buy Us a Beer.

  • Happy Birthday Emma!!

  • Glad to know you guys are well. I love the idea for the Wild West thing! There are a lot of festivals here and there and everywhere and those of us with children really need that sort of thing! Best of luck with that! We are in Indian Rocks beach and still living aboard. I wish you two and the kids all the best with the next upcoming season! Keep up the hard work! Love it that you are still making it without going back to the “rat race”!
